smashpOp Christmas Give Away Nike Hayward

HoHoHo! Santa pOp is coming to town! smashpOp.net give away christmas present to 1 lucky blogger. What's that present? Is the Nike Hayward Backpack and it's still red in colour! Match the christmas atmosphere! Anyway, I had decided to participate in this contest and took the whole day time work on it! I tried my best to complete the drawing and camwhore myself holding the paper. Let's take a look:

Actually I had taken quite many shots by Self Timer. Then I selected a fews to everyone! I found everything out such as santa hat and wear a red shirt. I really happy to see that I could produce out such an amazing drawing. I don't know whether this suit everyone's eyes or not but I feel proud on it! It's a good try.

I didn't buy many branded items such as Nike nor Adidas and more... I just go for the cheap stuffs and plan to save money by the way. I hope to win this backpack from smashpOp.net because Jason Goh is so kind to be a santa pOp giving away Nike Hayward. So here to mention Nike just do it! So I just do it...

Komtar Public Buses New Guide

Recently the Penang State Government had planned out a 'Win-Win' idea in order to settle the traffic jams around Komtar area. If you're Penangites, you should know the Komtar Public Bus Terminal Station. Anyway, I think that this is a good arrangement for every buses company and also publics.

Besides it can settle out avll the traffic jams in the city, it can also give the fair to all bus companies. There are no longer quarrels between the bus drivers. The Rapid Penang bus company no longer be the first two lanes to wait for their passengers. It take turns and depends on areas. That's good and fair for everyone, good job state government! Christmas Feeling @ Shopping Complex

Hello everyone wish you a merry earlier christmas first. Anyway, christmas is just around the corner. 1 week more to go and I am sure everyone has prepared for their functions on christmas eve or even christmas day. Not forget for those commercial areas, they had decorated their building in the one month time before the christmas. I had snapped some photos of Penang 2 popular shopping complex that's Gurney Plaza and Queensbay Mall. You may make a compare!

I was surprise to see that Gurney decorations were so awesome. It's much better than Queensbay. I really can feel the christmas atmosphere when I walked in. Last 2 weeks, I follow my friend Kok Aun who plan to buy shirts in FOS. Then I took sometimes to snap on those photos. Really happy to see there have a santa claus together with santa deer up at the signboard! I rate for it is PERFECT!

Whereas come to Queensbay, it's more look like having Halloween. Why I say so because the lights decorations is black in colour and the style is a bit like halloween style. I don't know what the purpose they put this. But I just saw the designed stage and many of christmas tree. I not really feel christmas atmosphere there! But it's a good job for them to do the stage, I can comment that the stage was awesome! Rate for them PERFECT too. I think it's quite a big project for them... Neway Karaoke Box is coming to Penang

A good news for Queensbay Mall shoppers. Neway Karaoke Box is opening soon in Queensbay Mall, Penang. They opened their 1st outlet in Penang and I think it's a good news for those Penangites. I think they will open on next year and that time Penang going to have 2 choices. One is RedBox in Gurney and another one is Neway in Queensbay.

I think now both of them have to adjust their price to attract those peoples coming. As you know most the Penangites plan to have a good service without paying much. Anyway, it's good for me to choose Neway because the location is nearer to me. Then next time when shop in Queensbay I have another destination to go on! Wait for you Neway... Starwalk 2009 Goodies

Wow suffered from the half day outing in school and watched Penang International Dragon Boat Competition 2009 at Jelutong Expressway. I was there to take some photos since I didn't go before! Anyway, it's really hot and now I get a bit of sunburn on my face.... but I think it's worth because I made myself the first time watching this event! Good...

Besides that now I just have around 15 minutes to settle up my things before go to sleep. Tomorrow early morning need to wake up for annual Penang Starwalk. I had joined it for three years since I was form 1 I joined it! Actually it's a healthy annual event that let Penangite walk for 10 km in 2 hours.

Actually compare with PBIM(Penang Bridge International Marathon) the goodies are much more than that. I can't say anything because Star Paper is a big company whereas the PBIM organizer was just a state government. This year I wondered why will have so much of goodies after reading YanYao's blog. I just realize when I received a goodies bag from my dad!

It's actually contains a lot of light food. Got sweets, biscuits, crunchy items and more. Furthermore the organizer also found the good sponsors this year for providing the nice recyclable bag and I get a lot of facial items which can keep me clean. This year the new business hotel Eastin hotel was sponsored two sports events! It's really worth it that I paid for only RM8 get back a lot of stuffs.

Starwalk rocks! I am looking forward for tomorrow lucky draws and the new arrangement of reporting venue. I am looking forward to the crowds too! Meet friends there and bloggers as well... Bye and good night! Posted by GenYong 12.12.2009

Penang Bridge International Marathon (Part 2)

Continue from last post, come to part 2. We enjoy the food and beverages which sponsored by those company. The main purpose is to refresh those runners who already suffer from thirsty and tiredness. Some of the runners make to take photos with friends in the venue. I could see a crowd of runners with different shirt colours, got blue, orange, red, green and white.

I could see many peoples were there taking photos with friends. It's an annual event and up to 17,000 runners took part on this marathon. Some of them took this chance to take photos with those runners and my school mates took photos with my Science teacher.

I was not forgot to take photos with my ex-A1mates too. The guy stand beside me was ChunWern who was the joker in class. Although he always making jokes to class his result was good in overall! Good boy...

As you can see most runners crowded at the sponsored booths requested for foods and beverages. The most crowded booths were Milo and 100 Plus! Runners were thirsty and queue up for the drinks. I had two cups of 100 plus and one cup of Milo. Those runners took 2 Milo in one shot and caused the Fun Runners couldn't taste Milo anymore.

My friend Chu Gen who is also my ex-A1mates. He get himself a finisher medal who ran with me at beginning but in the end he left us and ran faster! So he got it, but I didn't....

Here is one part of the ChungLing guys who took part in PBIM. Last year, many ChungLing guys also participated in this event and the same also for this year. I don't know actually is whether they like this marathon or like the marks that provided by school? I actually didn't aim for winning this marathon or any marks from school! Penang Bridge International Marathon (Part 1)

On 22nd of November 2009, the annual grand event of Penang happened in Queensbay Mall. The Penang Bridge International Marathon was organized by Penang State Government. I had participated before in this event last year. As well this year I was participating in the Quarter Marathon Boys Under 16. This year I am 15 years old and also my last year to participate in this category.

The participants of Quarter Marathon gathered outside the Coffee Bean before the run starts. Some of them seems to be excited and chit chat non stop with their friends. While I was looking for the runners who had completed their run.

Most of the Half Marathon runners were back to the finish line. Many of St John members were standby for the duty. Some of the runners share their happiness with others and I could see them suffered from tiredness.

The gold sponsor DiGi served the runners for the free drinks and together from the sponsor Salonpas served the medicine for runners who suffered from muscle cramps. I could see some runners after received the drinks either they drank little bit then pour on the head or throw on the road, won't it be waste?

When everyone was ready the organizer hands up the gun and shoot to sky. That means the run had started. We were observe by the YBs together with Chief Minister and TYT. It's great when I was running I shout out loudly and rise my hands up! I didn't aim for the 1st but I just aim to finish this run.

I didn't take many photos because I need to concentrate on running. I was taking competition not fun run! Anyway, I just stop on the bridge and snapped a photo. Most runners was suffering tiredness while on the bridge whereas some of them were taking photos with each other. I could just half walk half run to complete the whole distance. I didn't train actually and I scared my muscle will cramp. Luckily I had completed the run nicely and didn't hurt myself.

Just a waste is I didn't get the finisher medals. Those runners in front of me for about 1 minute get the medals but I was so bad luck didn't get anything. No medals, no certificate and no lucky number. RM20 is just flying off for this marathon! But I think it worthed for me to experience on running 10km which I never try before.
